The TREMEC Magnum XL 6-speed Transmission is a continuation of the popular Magnum series, which is derived from the OEM TR-6060. A rigid direct mount shifter provides improved performance and lightning-quick shifts.

What are the differences between a 2.66 or 2.97 Magnum XL?

Both gear options of the Magnum XL feature a 1:1 fourth gear. The most important thing is to pair this transmission with the correct rear end gear. The 2.66 option features a longer first gear and wider gear spacing, while the 2.97 is a shorter first gear and closer gear spacing (good for NA / low boost applications).
